What is Ultrasound ?

General Ultrasound

  • Urinary System – Kidney, Ureters and Urinary Bladder.

  • Upper Abdomen – Liver, Gallbladder & Bile Duct, Pancreas, Spleen and Abdominal Aorta.

  • Lower Abdomen/Pelvis –

  1. Female : Uterus, Ovaries, Fallopion tube, Cervix and Bladder.

  2. Male : Prostate, Seminal Vesicle and Bladder.

  • Neck/Thyroid – Thyroid gland and surrounding structures.

  • Breast – Internal structures of the breast.

  • Scrotum – Male testicles and surrounding tissues.

  • Lower Extremity Venous Doppler – To estimate the blood flow in your Veins

  • Lower Extremity Artery Doppler – To estimate the blood flow in your Arteries

  • Muculoskeletal – Muscle, Tendon, Ligaments and Joint.

  • Superficial Soft Tissue

Pregnancy Ultrasound

 

  • Details Scan – To screen for any abnormal organs during 2nd Trimester.

  • Growth Scan – Done to assess the baby’s size, position and amniotic fluid volume.

Why Ultrasound is performed?

Ultrasound is commonly used to identify:

  • Stones, cyst, tumor, abscess, obstruction, infection or fluid collection within or around the urinary system.

  • Liver & Spleen disease such as fatty liver, cyst, hepatitis, cirrhosis and tumors.

  • Gallbladder stones or inflammation and obstruction at bile duct.

  • Pancreas inflammation or tumor.

  • Uterine fibroid, ovarian cyst, endometriosis or tumors of the female reproductive organ

  • Male genital organ and prostate tumor.

  • Thyroid goiter, tumor or cyst.

  • Breast lump, tumors and dilated ducts

  • Evaluate blood flow through your Veins and Arteries

  • Muscle, tendon, ligament injuries and joint inflammation

  • Superficial abscess, hematoma, lipoma, cyst, nodules or tumors

What You Need to Know

Time Allocation & Appointment

Please allocate around 30mins-40mins to complete our scanning procedure. You're required to book our appointment two (2) days earlier via call, walk in or communicate with your respective clinic/doctor to book our slot also to provide a referral letter.

Patient Preparation

• 8 hours fasting for upper abdomen ultrasound.

• Full Bladder(keep your urinary bladder full) for lower abdomen and urinary system ultrasound.

Registration

Please bring your NRIC or passport (for international customers) and any panel/insurance identity card (if applicable). It is advisable to check with us for the available panelship and insurance claimables.

Our Staff

Our Ultrasound is performed by skilled Sonographer and reviewed by our Medical Officer resulting in accurate findings.

*Radiologist reporting upon request only with additional charges.

Result

Depending on the appointments, results will be sent to patients directly or to referred clinic/doctor accordingly. You will receive the result within the next three (3) working days. This will however depend on whether it is the non-peak period or otherwise. Results will be available through QR code found on the payment receipt. Patients required to request for tele-consultation if required.
