Who might need Holter Monitor?
Upon consultation, our Doctor may recommend a Holter monitor if you have:
Signs and symptoms of an irregular heart rhythm (arrhythmia)
Unexplained fainting
A heart condition that increases the risk of arrhythmias
What You Need to Know
Patient Preparation
Our team will place sensors (electrodes) on your chest. These electrodes detect the heartbeat. They're a small size device. If you have hair on your chest, some of it may be shaved to make sure the electrodes stick.
Registration
Please bring your NRIC or passport (for international customers) and any panel/insurance identity card (if applicable). It is advisable to check with us for the available panelship and insurance claimables.
Result
Depending on the monitoring days, the cardiologist report will be ready within 24 hours upon the device submission. Our Medical Officer will consult the patient on her result
